DIRAC UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIPS PROGRAM

DIRAC offers undergraduates a chance to perform a thesis at one of its institutions. It provides for an effective preparation for a range of research in cognitive engineering which undergraduates might attempt during their future careers. To achieve this, a thesis proposals will be carried out under supervision at the DIRAC institute which offers the proposal, and the undergraduate will be funded to cover for travel and living expenses.

These proposals are offered through open competition. This means that it is possible that multiple students apply for the same proposal. After the deadline mentioned below, you will be notified if your application was found to be the best candidate.

WHO CAN APPLY

The undergraduate internship program is open to any undergraduate looking for a suitable thesis proposal in the field of cognitive sciences.

THE VISITS

Visits typically occupy between three and six months at the host institute.

THE FUNDING

DIRAC will provide funding at a rate of 1250 Euro/month which can be used for travel and living expenses.

THE INSURANCE

The applicant will not be insured for accidents or sickness by the hosting institute, but is requested to supply us with proof of insurance on their end.

WHEN TO APPLY

DIRAC undergraduate applications can be submitted at any time but they will only be decided upon by DIRAC's Training Board after May 30th. Those who are accepted will receive a confirmation soon after.
